Shipping Policies
Processing Time
The time needed to prepare an order for shipping varies, especially for Bespoke/ Custom orders (*see How to Order Bespoke/Custom Stationery for more details). All other orders usually ship 5-7 business days from the day the order is placed (Business days do not include weekends or holidays).
Most orders may be rush processed for an additional fee. Rush processing reduces the item’s processing and printing time from 5-7 business days to 1-2 business days. Rush processing only expedites the amount of time it takes for your item to be processed and printed. If necessary, you will need to pay additional expedited shipping fees. As the price of a rush fee or expedited shipping fee will vary depending on the item, please email me at stonecottagepaperie@gmail.com for exact pricing.
Unless otherwise noted, all orders ship via FEDEX, 2 Day Priority mail. SCP is not responsible for shipping delays due to FEDEX.
Damage During Shipment
If the inevitable happens and your items are damaged during shipment, please send a photograph of the damaged item immediately to stonecottagepaperie@gmail.com. All claims must be received within 5 days of delivery or refunds cannot be made. After receipt and review of the photograph(s) indicating damage, SCP will happily offer you either a reprint free of charge or a full refund.
To help us out, please retain the box or damaged item as SCP will need specific photos to file a USPS claim.
Returns & Exchanges
SCP does not accept returns or exchanges for the following items:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Digital downloads
- Sale items
Refund Policy
All sales are final; however, refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Item(s) damaged during transit.
- Printing mistakes made by SCP, not printing mistakes due to incorrect text entered by the customer.
Please ensure that you review all text before you complete your purchase as SCP is not responsible for reprinting items that were incorrectly entered by the customer.
Additionally, any photos to be used on your order must have the correct width and height requirements, have a picture resolution of 300 dpi, and be submitted as a JPG or PNG. Not meeting these requirements will result in poor printing quality. SCP does not take responsibility for the quality of customers’ photos. It is fully the customer’s responsibility to ensure photos presented meet these submission standards. SCP will not make adjustments to a submitted photograph and will not reprint cards due to poor image quality (out of focus, too dark, etc.).
Please remember that a photo on your computer screen will appear much brighter than the actual photograph due the screen being backlit.
Please note: Shipping and handling fees are not refundable and are not reimbursed by SCP unless the items are damaged. The customer is responsible for all shipping return fees.

How do I contact you?
I am happy to answer your questions via email at stonecottagepaperie@gmail.com Monday-Friday during business hours. Emails received outside of this time frame will be answered the next working business day.
What type of paper do you use?
All cards are printed on premium, heavyweight, slightly textured 120 lb. Eggshell White Paper (a creamy white) or slightly textured 120 lb. Bright White Paper. In addition, any flat card may be printed on double thick 240 lb. paper upon request for an additional fee.
Do the cards come with envelopes?
Each card comes with one coordinating envelope with a European flap (pointed) except for a square card which has a square flap. Return addresses and envelope liners are included on select items.
All of the cards use standard postage, except for square envelopes which require additional postage. The post office offers stamps reflecting this additional postage.
Do you offer proofs?
SCP does not offer proofs on personalized items; these products will be produced as shown on SCP’s website. Electronic proofs are available for Bespoke/Custom orders.
Can you design a Custom Card for me?
Absolutely! If you would like a fully-custom card with original commissioned artwork, please email me at stonecottagepaperie@gmail.com for pricing details.
What is the minimum card order that can be placed?
SCP requires a minimum of 10 when ordering notecards, and 25 when ordering wedding collection items, invitations, birth announcements and Christmas cards.
Can I cancel my order?
SCP puts personalized orders into production immediately upon ordering to insure a timely delivery schedule. Therefore, cancellations are not available.
